Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Clinical Cardiovascular Specialist to support the pacemaker/defibrillator clinic. You will manage remote monitoring, device interrogations, and patient education to ensure safe, effective care for cardiac device patients.

The role requires 3–5 years of cardiovascular experience, CPR certification, and strong communication and EMR skills. Monday–Friday schedule with potential travel to satellite offices; benefits eligible and full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree encouraged/preferred.
• 3–5 years clinical cardiovascular experience.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients regarding recalls and monitor device changes.
• Evaluate and support delivery of quality clinical care for cardiac devices.
• Perform remote transmissions review of implanted devices.
• Interrogate and reprogram devices in office or urgent visits.
• Interpret arrhythmias and troubleshoot device settings.
• Provide patient education on heart pacing.
