Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Tissue with cardiac device expertise to support patients with pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators. You will manage device interrogations, remote monitoring, and patient education in a high-volume cardiology setting.

The role requires 3–5 years of cardiovascular experience and CPR certification. Work is primarily in clinic settings with occasional travel to satellite offices; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Bachelor's degree encouraged/preferred.
• 3-5 years clinical cardiovascular experience.
• Familiar with cardiac devices such as pacemakers and automatic internal defibrillator systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and supports quality clinical care for patients with cardiac devices.
• Performs remote device checks and reprogramming as needed.
• Interprets arrhythmias and troubleshoots device settings.
• Maintains patient education and coordinates care with physicians.
• Documents patient data in EMR and completes charges for device interrogations.
• Schedules transtelephonic checks and triages messages for timely responses.
