Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia seeks a dedicated cardiology patient device clinician to support pacemaker and ICD patients, including device interrogations and remote monitoring. The role involves collaboration with physicians, education of patients, and efficient use of the EMR system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree encouraged/preferred.
• 3–5 years cardiovascular clinical experience preferred.
• Familiar with cardiac devices such as pacemakers and ICDs.
• Good computer and organizational skills; strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage quality clinical care for patients with pacemakers and ICDs.
• Perform device interrogations and reprogramming in the office.
• Review remote transmissions daily to support arrhythmia management.
• Document care and charges in the EMR; ensure data accuracy and policy compliance.
• Educate patients on heart pacing and device function; coordinate with staff.
