Job summary

Atrium Health's Heart Center is seeking a skilled professional to manage patient care for those with pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators. This role involves device interrogations, remote monitoring, and coordinating with physicians to ensure optimal device function and patient outcomes.

You will educate patients on pacing therapy, manage documentation in the EMR, and participate in daily workflows across locations, including satellite offices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years clinical cardiovascular experience.
• Familiar with cardiac devices, such as pacemakers and automatic internal defibrillator systems.
• Willing to learn pacemaker and defibrillator analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and support quality clinical care for patients with cardiac devices.
• Perform device interrogations and reprogramming per patient needs.
• Review remote transmissions to monitor implanted devices and correlate with clinical status.
• Triages and communicates device data to physicians.
• Educate patients about heart pacing and device function.
