Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years of acute invasive cardiology/cardiovascular technologist experience.
• High School Diploma with ARRT Radiology Technology registration.
• RCVT or RCIS or RCES within 24 months; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist primary physician during cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Serve as liaison between clinical staff and families.
• Provide patient care and education for Cath Lab procedures.
• Assist with development and orientation of Cath Lab protocols.
• Evaluate equipment and contribute to inventory control and cost effectiveness.
