Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in Sunset Park is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to support the primary operating physician in cardiac catheterization and diagnostic procedures.

The role requires an Associate Degree or higher, ARRT radiology registration, RCIS/RCES within 24 months, and ACLS within 6 months. You will participate in patient care in the Cath Lab, assist with equipment, protocols, and education, ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree or equivalent with a minimum 5 years acute invasive cardiology experience or ARRT-based credentialing and RCIS/RCES within 24 months.
• ARHS/ACLS within 6 months and Cardiovasc Invasive Spec-Cert as required.
• Experience in cardia cath lab procedures and ability to assist physician during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs and supports cardiac catheterization and related diagnostic procedures.
• Assists with development of protocols for use in the laboratory.
