NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to join the Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. The role supports the primary physician in procedures, protocols, and patient care across Cath Lab services.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related path, with ARRT registration or equivalent, and 5+ years of invasive cardiology experience or specific radiology credentials within defined timeframes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or High School Diploma with related experience in invasive cardiology.
• ARRT Radiology Technology registration required; RCVT/RCIS/RCES credentials within 24 months.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist primary operating physician in cardiac catheterization and diagnostic procedures.
• Serve as liaison between clinical staff and families.
• Provide patient care and education for Cath Lab patients.
• Assist with equipment evaluation, protocol development, and staff orientation.
• Ensure accurate documentation and data entry in patient records and reports.

Education

Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology

High School Diploma

Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

ARRT Radiology Technology registration

RCVT/RCIS/RCES within 24 months

ACLS within 6 months
