Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to assist the primary operating physician during cardiac catheterization and selected diagnostic procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role requires close collaboration with clinical staff and families to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent, ARRT registration, and ACLS certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent required.
• ARRT Radiology Technology registration required; RCIS/RCES/RCVT within 24 months.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists primary physician in cardiac catheterization and related diagnostic procedures.
• Serves as liaison between clinical staff and families.
• Verifies hemodynamic data and documents in patient records.
• Maintains equipment, monitors for failures, and supports inventory control.
• Ensures post-procedure data is complete and accurately filed.
