Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for the Sunset Park site, working 5am-3pm with on-call requirements. The role involves assisting the primary physician in cardiac catheterization and related diagnostic procedures.

You will support the Cath Lab team, participate in equipment evaluation, and ensure accurate documentation and high-quality patient care within a teaching hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or high school diploma with 5 years of acute invasive cardiology/cardiovascular technologist experience.
• High school diploma + ARRT Radiology Technology registration; RCVT/RCIS/RCES within 24 months of employment; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab and assists with catheterization, ablation, and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Acts as liaison between clinical staff and families; provides patient care aligned with age-related development.
• Develops and evaluates protocols; educates Cath Lab staff; maintains equipment and inventory.
