Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for 11am-9pm shifts with on-call required. You will assist the primary operating physician to perform cardiac catheterization and selected diagnostic procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a high school diploma with 5 years acute invasive cardiology experience, ARRT registration, and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or High School Diploma with 5 years of acute invasive cardiology/cardiovascular technologist experience.
• AR RT Radiology Technology registration; RCVT/RCIS/RCES within 24 months of employment; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with cardiac catheterization and selected diagnostic procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Serves as liaison between clinical staff and families and provides patient care during procedures.
• Maintains equipment, monitors data, and ensures accurate documentation and final reports in medical records.
