Qualifications

Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology is required or a High School Diploma with relevant experience.
ARRT Radiology Technology registration is required or within 24 months of employment.
RCVT/RCIS/RCES certification within 24 months of employment is required or pursued.

Responsibilities

Assists the primary operating physician in cardiac catheterization and selected diagnostic procedures.
Acts as liaison between clinical staff and families and provides patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Evaluates equipment and protocols; supports device selection and inventory management to ensure patient safety and cost efficiency.
Reviews patient history and prior films to inform procedures and gathers data for physician reports.
