Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist to join our busy Cardiac Cath Lab on a full-time basis. You will assist the primary operating physician during cardiac catheterization and related diagnostic procedures, delivering patient care across age groups.

The role requires acute invasive cardiology experience or ARRT radiology registration, ACLS, and the ability to work with clinically diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• RCVT/RCIS/RCES certification within 24 months preferred or radiology registration (ARRT).
• Qualified candidates must communicate effectively across organization levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist primary physician during cardiac catheterization and related diagnostic procedures.
• Provide patient care and education for patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Maintain and evaluate equipment, procedures, and patient data; ensure accurate documentation.
• Verifies hemodynamic data and inputs data into the hospital database.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance in Cath Lab procedures.
