Job summary

Golden Nozzle Car Wash seeks a hands-on Operations Assistant Manager to support daily high-volume car wash operations in Springfield, MA. You will train and coach team members, monitor safety and equipment, and help optimize throughput to enhance the customer experience.

You’ll collaborate with the Site Manager to execute sales initiatives, manage inventory, and resolve issues quickly. This role demands flexibility, strong communication, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and ability to work up to 50 hours per week.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of car wash equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily site operations including staffing support, scheduling, coaching, and feedback.
• Help ensure facility, equipment, and grounds are safe and fully operational at all times.
• Support efforts to optimize workflow and vehicle throughput to minimize wait times.
• Provide best-in-class customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Assist with sales initiatives and membership growth to drive revenue and retention.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking of chemicals and supplies.
• Enforce safety procedures and regulatory compliance; review KPIs with Site Manager.
• Lead shifts and oversee operations in the Site Manager’s absence when needed.
