Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Capture Manager to lead the development and execution of capture strategies, proposals, and client presentations within the Strategy, Business Development, and Partnership team. This role involves cross-functional leadership without direct supervision, guiding growth initiatives across casualty and other lines.

The ideal candidate will drive market insights, create compelling client content, and manage lifecycle activities from opportunity identification to program go-live,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Eight+ years of relationship building, capture/proposal management, and strategic planning in claims management or risk management.
• Strong written and oral communication, with ability to craft persuasive business development content.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and data-driven decision support.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to pipeline forecasting, lead capture, and competitive analysis tools and dashboards using CRM, GovWin, LinkedIn, and AI research to support business goals.
• Conducts market research and analysis on clients, stakeholders, partners, and competitors to inform Business Development Plans.
• Supports business cases with value propositions, risk/benefit analyses, revenue projections, and alignment with growth goals.
• Engages across all sales stages: forecasting, lead capture, proposal development, client presentations, contracting, implementation, and go-live.
