Job summary

Innovative Captive Strategies (ICS) seeks a Captive Executive to expand its Property & Casualty captive practice across strategic US markets. You will develop markets, build relationships with agencies and business leaders, and drive growth through consultative sales.

You'll educate clients on captive strategies, offer practical solutions, and lead program growth with client partners and vendors, while traveling up to 50% and operating with autonomy.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in insurance, business development, consulting, captive insurance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in consultative sales and relationship management.
• Property & Casualty insurance experience preferred.
• Insurance licensing (or ability to obtain licensure within three months).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Drive Business Growth: Develop and execute market expansion strategies within assigned territories; Build relationships with agencies, brokers, consultants, and business leaders; Generate new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and consultative sales efforts; Lead conversations with prospective clients and agency partners to identify opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
• Serve as a Strategic Advisor: Educate clients and partners on captive insurance strategies and alternative risk solutions; Provide consultative guidance that helps clients gain greater control, stability, and long-term value from their insurance programs; Present complex concepts in a clear, practical, and business-focused manner.
• Lead and Grow Captive Programs: Serve as the strategic lead for group captive programs; Partner with clients, agency partners, captive members, and vendors to support program growth and long-term success; Facilitate member meetings, educational sessions, and strategic planning discussions.
• Influence the Future: Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to help shape captive strategy and market direction; Represent ICs at industry events, meetings, and business development initiatives; Mentor and support team members while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
