Job summary

The City of New York seeks a Program Manager, Buildings within the Mayor’s Office of Capital Project Development to support capital project coordination across City Agencies. You will liaise between the Deputy Mayor for Operations and project teams, shaping timelines, and ensuring delivery of major infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in capital project management and capital delivery for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience in capital project delivery and interagency coordination.
• Business operations, process design and project management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deliver on multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the Deputy Mayor for Operations and the capital project teams at the City’s critical infrastructure agencies.
• Support strategic planning and project execution for large-scale infrastructure projects across the five boroughs.
• Facilitate interagency coordination, set timelines and milestones, review capital improvement plans, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor best practices, latest trends, and make policy and operational recommendations for high-profile capital projects.
• Support the implementation of infrastructure projects necessary to advance neighborhood planning initiatives.
• Coordinate Deputy Mayor briefings, prep materials, and calendaring as appropriate and support DMO staff members as needed
• Participate in internal and external meetings with or on behalf of the Deputy Mayor to ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Develop and facilitate systems and processes for City Hall coordination.
• Coordinate across Deputy Mayor teams.
