Job summary

The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Division of Public Buildings, is seeking a Project Director for the Capital Program Delivery program in the Police Unit. The selected candidate will manage a portfolio of complex capital projects across all five boroughs, overseeing scoping, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction activities.

Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma and five years of full-time construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related field.
• Professional engineer, architect, or landscape architect license.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project phases: scoping, initiation, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction.
• Coordinate project and site meetings; liaise with city agencies and sponsors.
• Direct vendors and consultants; ensure KPI delivery and thorough reporting.
