Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is hiring a Personal Care Specialist to engage customers in a retail cannabis environment, educate on products and safety, and tailor recommendations to individual needs.

You will uphold store standards, assist in daily operations, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering outstanding customer service and building relationships with patients and guests.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience.
• Availability for varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends to meet business needs.
• Reliable attendance is required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass all background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must follow all legal/company regulations for working in cannabis.
• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients/customers in a retail environment.
• Educate customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction.
• Recommend safe and effective regimens based on individual needs; stay updated on product knowledge.
• Promote a positive, communicative, patient-focused store atmosphere.
• Help verify order deliveries for accuracy.
• Support management to ensure smooth store operations, compliance, and issue handling.
• Enforce local/state cannabis regulations and maintain store compliance.
• Keep the sales floor stocked and maintain store presence.
• Maintain required hard copy files and follow security/safety procedures.
• Perform assigned duties at various stations: front of house, back of house, maintenance, and other tasks as needed.
