Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to provide exceptional customer service, educational guidance, and ensure accurate order processing in a fast-paced retail setting. You will help customers navigate cannabis products for wellness, build loyalty, and support store operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years retail experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn about cannabinoids and product applications. 21+ with state compliance readiness is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21+ and pass background checks and state badging.
• Desire to learn cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications.
• Basic proficiency with Word, Excel, and email.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local cannabis laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and usage as wellness items.
• Build rapport to promote repeat business.
• Provide product education on types, methods and efficacy (no medical advice).
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and front of store.
• Process POS transactions and ensure inventory accuracy in METRC/BioTrack.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pickup.
• Understand and apply compliance regulations.
