Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, educate customers about cannabis as a wellness product, and ensure compliance in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will greet customers and patients, answer questions, and help navigate available products while maintaining accurate records and a clean storefront. Training and ongoing education are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and software like Word, Excel, email.
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and educational consulting.
• Assist customers and patients navigate cannabis and educate on wellness products.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure METRC/BioTrack inventory updates.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized storefront.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory.
• Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by laws.
