Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Chandler, AZ seeks a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and educational consulting in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will help customers navigate cannabis products, educate on use as wellness items (not medical advice), build rapport with regulars, and assist managers while keeping the store clean and compliant with state laws.

Previous retail or hospitality experience and willingness to learn about cannabinoids are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21+ and comply with regulations.
• Criminal background check and state badging may be required.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications.
• Ability to use office equipment and basic software.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local cannabis laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a positive attitude.
• Be an advocate of cannabis customer care.
• Educate customers on cannabis products as wellness options (not medical advice).
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Maintain a clean, organized store front and workstation.
• Ensure online orders are accurate before pickup.
• Understand and apply compliance regulations at state level.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays.
• Process POS transactions and update inventory systems.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
