Job summary

Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor in Chandler, AZ to deliver exceptional customer service and educational guidance for cannabis products. You will help customers navigate product types, ensure accurate transactions, and adhere to state compliance in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in retail or hospitality, are 21+, and eager to learn cannabinoids and product applications while maintaining a clean workstation and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21+ and compliant with local, state, and company regulations.
• Background check and state badging required.
• Desire to learn cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email).
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care and education.
• Help customers navigate cannabis products for wellness applications.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Work well in a fast-paced, retail environment.
• Provide information on product types, methods, and efficacy (not medical advice).
• Maintain ongoing cannabis education and training.
