Job summary

Verano in the United States is seeking an Agent in-Charge to deliver exceptional customer service, provide educational consulting, and support dispensary staff under the AGM.

This role emphasizes inventory duties (about 30%) and accurate record keeping, handling cash, opening/closing, and helping patients navigate cannabis products while ensuring compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years retail experience, are 21+, and eager to learn about cannabinoids and product applications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands including some weekends, regularly scheduled shifts, and applicable holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers.
• Assist in regular inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Obtain cannabis product from the vault and provide it to Cannabis Advisor for sale.
• Open and close store as directed by AGM or GM.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and their uses as wellness products (not medical advice).
• Ensure compliance with local/state regulations and proper paperwork for products.
