Verano Holdings is seeking an Agent in-Charge to deliver exceptional customer service and educational consulting in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment. You will assist with inventory controls, support staff, and ensure accurate record-keeping under state regulations.

The role emphasizes customer care, product knowledge, and adherence to local and state cannabis laws, with responsibility for store operations and POS support as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands including some weekends, regularly scheduled shifts, and applicable holidays.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software, i.e., Word, Excel, email, etc.
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies to leadership.
• Provide product information and cannabis education to customers (not medical advice).
• Open and close the store as directed by management.
• Support Cannabis Advisors with product or POS questions.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
