Job summary

A valid driver’s license is required, and you will coordinate licensing activities, respond to inquiries, and prepare reports

Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of licensing statutes and procedures.
• Experience with regulated business or industry operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to interpret laws and regulations in practice.
• Competency with general computer software and data systems.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in licensing contexts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise review and processing of license applications and permits.
• Assess studies and analyses impacting regulatory responsibilities.
• Coordinate license issuance, cancellation, and updates.
• Respond to inquiries about complex licensing procedures.
• Handle official correspondence and notices of hearings when needed.
• May act as hearings officer and prepare disposition recommendations.
• Represent agency at meetings relating to license transactions.
• Prepare data and reports on licensing activities and investigations.
