Essential Employment Services, Inc. in Fall River, MA is seeking a Retail Personal Service Provider Lead to supervise the dispensary team, ensure accurate transactions, and deliver exceptional patient and customer service.

You will lead by example, train PSPs, and drive efficient store operations in a fast-paced cannabis retail setting. The role requires 2–3 years of cannabis industry experience, strong product knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old as required by state law.
• 2–3 years of experience in a dispensary or cannabis customer service; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and effects; able to educate customers and team.
• Excellent customer service, issue resolution, and ability to create a welcoming environment.
• Proven ability to lead by example, motivate team, and ensure efficient store operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication; effective with customers, staff, and management.
• Understanding of local and state cannabis laws and regulations, including ID verification and product compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, keep dispensary organized, and handle cash/transactions accurately.

Responsabilités

• Open/close the dispensary as Key Holder.
• Train PSPs and ensure compliant dispensing and payments.
• Handle cash and reconcile transactions; prepare deposits and cash tips.
• Assist Inventory Lead with stock and restocking; participate in inventory control.
• Coordinate staff breaks to maintain customer support during peak times.
• Address customer issues professionally and authoritatively.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and regulatory compliance of products.
• Assist customers with product selection and education on strains and consumption.
• Process sales transactions and manage cash/debit/credit payments.
• Stay updated on new products, trends, and industry developments.
• Maintain a positive, fun, and welcoming team environment.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development.
