Essential Employment Services, Inc is seeking a Retail Personal Service Provider for our cannabis dispensary in Wareham, MA. You will greet customers, answer questions, recommend products, and ensure compliance with state regulations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 21+, strong customer service, knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn, and cash handling with a POS. You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, maintaining a clean, welcoming sales floor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (state law).
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in retail or a cannabis-related field.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, consumption methods, and effects (or a strong willingness to learn).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of customers.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check (as required by state law).
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and register transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete Compliant Customer/Patient transactions
• Assist or elevate disgruntled customers/patients to Manager on Duty
• Take out trash and assist in keeping the sales floor clean
• Confirm cash register beginning and ending at $200
• Confirm accurate cash drops
• Parking Lot Sweeps
• Build online orders (when there is downtime)
• Research current products
• Clean glass fixtures
• Assist in Greeter position duties when needed
• Access patient records with confidentiality
