Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. is seeking an HR Shared Services - Candidate Experience Manager to optimize recruitment logistics and candidate touchpoints. You will bridge Talent Acquisition strategy with operational execution, driving efficiency, transparency, and candidate-centric processes across the hiring funnel.

The role requires leading coordinators, coordinating interviews and travel, and leveraging ATS and scheduling tools to improve time-to-hire and candidate experience. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification highly desirable.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in HR Shared Services or high-volume recruitment support.
• Experience leading and developing teams of coordinators or specialists.
• Proven ability to optimize end-to-end candidate experience workflows and leverage ATS for efficiency.
• Experience using data analytics to track KPIs and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Streamline recruitment workflows to reduce time-to-hire and ensure consistent candidate communication.
• Administer and optimize ATS, AI scheduling tools, video interviewing platforms, and candidate portals.
• Oversee complex interview coordination, travel arrangements, and assessment deployments.
• Track candidate feedback, SLA compliance, and bottlenecks to drive improvements.
• Coordinate with background check providers, immigration partners, and staffing agencies while ensuring compliance.
• Provide recruiters and hiring managers with standardized guidelines, templates, and best practices.
