GAF Materials Corp. in Parsippany, NJ seeks an experienced HR Shared Services Manager to define and lead the end-to-end candidate experience, with a focus on self-service and world-class, white-glove engagement for all applicants and stakeholders.

The role requires deep expertise in talent acquisition processes, ATS optimization, and the ability to lead a specialized team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) desirable.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in HR Shared Services or high-volume recruitment support.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams of coordinators or specialists.
• Proven track record of optimizing end-to-end candidate experience workflows and leveraging ATS.
• Experience using data analytics to track metrics and KPI reporting.
• Strong candidate communication and stakeholder management background.
• Knowledge of HR compliance and talent acquisition best practices in a matrixed org.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Process: Define and optimize end-to-end candidate experience workflows, incl. ATS management.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of candidate experience specialists or coordinators.
• High-Touch Coordination: Oversee complex interview scheduling, including international/virtual logistics.
• Candidate Communication: Serve as primary contact with timely, transparent feedback to candidates and stakeholders.
• Metrics & Feedback: Analyze surveys, identify trends, and report to senior leadership.
• Process Improvement & Best Practice: Recommend changes and implement controls to mitigate risks.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve complex issues using established precedents.
• Organizational Alignment: Ensure recruitment aligns with company values and employer brand.
