Job summary

Follett Corporation in Tallahassee is seeking a Campus Store Manager to lead all facets of store operations and drive sales while upholding brand and service standards. You will mentor and develop team members, monitor financial metrics, and collaborate with the Regional Manager to strengthen campus partnerships and deliver an outstanding student and faculty experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience.
• General computer skills expected.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Vital customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building and ability to influence a team and engage customers.
• Travel: minimal - less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Execute operating plans and daily operations for traditional and peak periods.
• Lead in-store course materials activities with leadership.
• Partner with Regional Manager to review store financials and drive sales.
• Review and approve store markups, markdowns, and write-offs within guidelines.
• Ensure security of assets and safety of associates and customers; enforce policies.
• Communicate and collaborate with campus for events and engagement.
• Develop cross-functional teams and maintain accountability culture.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members.
• Maintain engaging customer service culture and solutions-based selling.
• Oversee cafe or convenience operations and compliance with health/safety regulations.
