Job summary

Follett Higher Education is seeking a Campus Store Manager to lead all facets of store operations, inspiring teams to drive sales and deliver brand and operational excellence through an engaging customer service experience.

You will mentor staff, stay engaged in financial metrics, and support a Regional Manager with campus relationships and operations, while upholding Follett Values and Core Competencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience.
• General computer skills.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Vital customer service, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building and ability to influence a team.
• Travel: minimal – less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Execute operating plans and daily store operations for traditional and peak periods.
• Lead in-store course materials activities and displays.
• Review store financials with Regional Manager and drive sales.
• Review and approve markups, markdowns, and write-offs per guidelines.
• Ensure security of assets and safety of associates and customers.
• Develop campus relationships and coordinate events.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop team members.
• Create engaging customer service culture and handle inquiries.
• Oversee a cafe or convenience store and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Perform other duties to support store operations.
