Job summary

Follett Higher Education seeks a Campus Store Manager to lead store operations and inspire teams to drive sales while delivering brand and operational excellence. You will mentor staff, manage financial metrics, and support regional leadership in campus relationships and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience required.
• General computer skills expected.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Vital customer service, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building and ability to influence a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive results and sales through promotions, events, displays, and merchandising.
• Lead in-store course materials activities with course materials leadership.
• Partner with Regional Manager to review and adjust store financials to drive sales; manage shrink budget.
• Review and approve store markups, markdowns, and write-offs within guidelines.
• Ensure security of assets, safety of associates and customers, and policy adherence.
• Develop campus relationships and coordinate events; manage day-to-day store operations and communications.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop team members; ensure performance and accountability.
• Build relationships with customers, faculty, staff, administrators, vendors and One Team Center staff to drive market share.
• Answer inquiries, handle escalated complaints, and maintain clean, orderly store; may oversee cafe or convenience store and ensure health and safety regulation compliance.
• Other duties as assigned to support store operations.
