Chartwells Higher Ed is seeking a CHEF, SOUS (HOURLY) for a full-time position at the University of Nevada, Reno. The role requires 3+ years of culinary and team lead experience, with a fixed pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

Shifts may vary, and online applications are accepted only. The job includes supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and coordinating with the Executive Chef in the absence of leadership.

• 3+ years of culinary and team lead experience in a Sous Chef role.

Responsabilidades

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling and training.
• Monitors sanitation and storage, ensures proper food handling and serving temperatures.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries, informs supervisor when stock is low.
