Job summary

Lids Sports Group, including The COOP stores serving the Harvard and MIT communities, seeks a Department Manager to own performance and daily execution of assigned store departments. You will blend merchandising, inventory control, and customer service to deliver a consistent, locally relevant campus shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail, buying, merchandising, or related experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or keyholder experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, organization, merchandising, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak academic periods.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance and daily execution of store departments or designated operating functions.
• Lead department planning for sales, inventory, promotions, and markdowns.
• Direct daily work, coach team members, and act as Manager-on-Duty.
• Support transactions, cash controls, receiving, inventory counts, and loss prevention.
