Job summary

GM Financial is seeking a University Talent Advisor II to build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, military, and community groups to create a strong talent pipeline. You will help design campus recruiting and intern programs and report on key metrics to drive improvements across the recruiting function.

You will partner with HR leaders and hiring managers to deliver effective outreach plans, conduct interviews, and manage full lifecycle recruiting, leveraging tools like

Qualifications

• Understanding of recruitment regulations including anti-discrimination laws and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to promote GMF brand to students and interns.
• Build relationships with academic faculties, career offices, students, military and community groups.
• Attend career fairs, information sessions and networking events at core schools and community groups.
• Plan, organize and execute recruitment events at target schools with presentations and interviews.
• Drive additional resources to support events using alumni, Brand Ambassadors, and other team members.
• Advise hiring managers, Brand Ambassadors and leadership on talent pipeline development.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews and manage full life-cycle recruiting processes.
• Lead small to large talent acquisition projects to improve department functions.
• Leverage branding and recruitment tools (Handshake, iCIMS, Hirevue, NACE, etc.).
