Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Early Career Talent Acquisition Partner to help recruit interns, co-ops, new graduates, and other early-career talent for GM's technical and business groups. You will partner with hiring managers, HR, and program leaders to deliver a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in Talent Acquisition, recruiting, HR, or a related field.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, or offers.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, follow-through, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel periodically for university recruiting events, meetings, or other business needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand workforce needs and align on recruiting strategy.
• Manage requisitions through full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, review, interviews, offers, and pre-employment.
• Recruit early-career talent across technical, non-technical, business roles.
• Build candidate pipelines via university relationships, career fairs, student orgs, and referrals.
• Support campus and virtual engagement strategies aligned with GM needs.
• Ensure consistent, structured, and timely assessments with interview teams.
• Coordinate with coordinators, sourcers, program managers, and partners to move hiring activity.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience through clear expectations and timely communication.
