Job summary

National Life Group is seeking a proactive University Recruiter to attract, engage, and hire early-career talent from universities. The role emphasizes campus partnerships, events, and full-cycle recruiting for internships and recent grads.

The position supports diversity and inclusion initiatives and collaborates with hiring managers to develop compelling postings and materials. Hybrid onsite schedule with remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience in HR, business, or communications.
• 2+ years in university or early-career recruiting or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and build relationships across diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to campuses and events as needed.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
• Familiarity with university recruiting tools and platforms (Handshake, Symplicity, RippleMatch).
• Knowledge of DEI and early talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement campus recruitment strategies to attract high-potential students and recent graduates.
• Build and maintain partnerships with career services, faculty, student organizations, and university stakeholders.
• Plan and execute campus events, career fairs, info sessions, workshops, and on-campus interviews.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for internships and early-career positions from sourcing to onboarding.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to create compelling job postings and recruitment materials.
• Track and analyze recruiting metrics to inform strategy and improve processes.
• Represent the company's brand and values in university-facing activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment efforts.
• Support the design and administration of internship and new graduate programs.
