Job summary

Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is seeking a Parking Operations Specialist to manage campus parking services, NOVACard operations, and related front-office tasks. The role requires administrative and customer-support duties, including permit sales and citation processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform front office duties including permit sales, citation payments, NOVACard issuance, cash drawer reconciliation & general customer support.
• Manage Print Services, refill paper, toner, and staples as needed. Troubleshoot paper jams.
• Monitor SmarterTrack for tickets and address as necessary; escalate to Tier 2 as needed.
• Perform parking enforcement duties including checking areas for infractions, issuing citations, maintaining equipment/hardware.
• Operate a state enforcement vehicle while performing duties.
