Job summary

Alpha is building a brand-new Springfield campus and seeks a Head of School to lead 15+ Guides while our EdTech platform handles instruction. You will set uncompromising standards, use data to drive decisions, and shape the campus culture from day one.

You will launch the location for 100+ students, run live workshops on life skills, and coach staff to excellence. This is a full-time W2 role with benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
• At least 7 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, business, or related field.
• Direct experience building and managing teams of 15+ people with hiring/firing authority.
• Deep knowledge of the Springfield, MA education landscape.
• Experience working with youth ages 5-14.
• Strong data analysis skills and metrics-driven decision making.
• Startup mindset and ability to build systems from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Launch Springfield, MA location with 100+ students and operational excellence.
• Lead life-skills workshops and coach students to master skills.
• Motivate students to achieve goals using data-driven models.
• Coach Guides to excellence and enforce Alpha's quality bar.
• Make data-driven campus leadership decisions and track results.
