Job summary

Oaks Christian School is seeking an IT Technician to provide hardware, software, and network support in a fast-paced environment. You will join a team of IT professionals ensuring smooth technical operations and exceptional service for staff and students.

The role involves supporting Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and Google Suite, managing devices, networks, and AV systems, and assisting with on-call duties as needed. A BA/BS in CS or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field.
• CompTIA A+ or similar certifications are a plus.
• Experience in a help desk or technical support role.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and other network protocols.
• Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-line technical support to employees.
• Supports PC and Apple/Mac hardware and software.
• Maintains inventory and documents technical procedures.
• Supports Microsoft 365 and Google Suite environments.
• Collaborates with vendors for repairs and warranty claims.
• May be required to be on-call.
