Job summary

Tulsa Community College seeks a tech operations specialist to oversee PC, terminal, and printer repair operations across campus locations. You will coordinate installations, support communications, and serve as a resource within the technology services group.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or equivalent in IT/Networking or related field, with PC diagnostics/repair experience, and A+ certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent education in Information Technology, Networking, or related area. Degree requirement may be substituted with equivalent work experience.
• Personal computer support/help desk experience.
• Initiative to maintain current knowledge and skills related to personal computer technology.
• Ability to perform duties with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience in the area of personal computer diagnostics and repair.
• Knowledge of personal computer operating systems and software including MS Windows, MS Office, and Professional Suite.
• A+ Certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to climb a ladder 10ft or more.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement personal computer, terminal, printer technology repair operations, and installations at Tulsa Community College campuses.
• Facilitate communications related to these operations, and serve as resource team member for technology and technology services.
• Provide for and oversee institutional software installation.
