Job summary

Novalink Solutions LLC is seeking an entry-level IT Support Technician for the College of Nursing. You will provide frontline technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students, troubleshoot hardware, software, and classroom tech, and help with workstation deployment and onboarding.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, the ability to learn university systems, and collaboration with College IT staff.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; basic IT support knowledge.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.
Ability to troubleshoot common computer and technology problems.
Familiarity with Windows environments.
Associate degree or technical certification in IT or related field preferred.
Familiarity with Teams/Zoom or conferencing tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

Provide frontline technical support to faculty, staff, and students in person, remotely, and via service-request process.
Diagnose and resolve issues with computers, software, peripherals, networks, and AV equipment.
Assist with workstation setup, equipment deployment, onboarding/offboarding, and classroom/meeting technology.
Document work performed and escalate issues requiring advanced troubleshooting or access.
Support classroom, conference-room, and audiovisual technologies and aid in live events.
