Job summary

United Global Technologies is seeking an entry-level IT Help Desk professional to provide frontline support for faculty, staff, and students. You will troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices, software, peripherals, and authentication issues while assisting with classroom AV and conferencing systems.

The role includes devices setup, onboarding/offboarding, and routine maintenance. You’ll work under IT staff, escalating complex problems and documenting solutions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with basic IT/end-user support experience.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.
Ability to troubleshoot common computer problems.
Familiarity with Windows environments.

Responsibilities

Provide frontline technical support to faculty, staff, and students in person, remotely, and via service-request process.
Support classroom, AV, conferencing, and related technologies; assist with demonstrations and livestreams.
Assist with workstation setup, deployment, onboarding/offboarding, and routine technology maintenance.
Follow procedures and document issues; escalate when advanced access or expertise is required.
