Job summary

Chandra Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level IT support specialist to provide frontline assistance to faculty, staff, and students within the College of Nursing. You will troubleshoot Windows and macOS, software and peripherals, and assist with onboarding/offboarding and equipment deployment.

The role emphasizes customer service, willingness to learn College and university technology systems, and collaboration with IT staff on meetings and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience supporting computers or end users.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.
• Ability to troubleshoot common computer and technology problems.
• Familiarity with Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Frontline Technical Support – provide in-person, remote, and service-request support for faculty, staff and students.
• Classroom, AV & Conferencing Support – assist with displays, projectors, cameras, and conferencing systems; troubleshoot issues.
• Endpoint & Device Support – assist with setup, deployment, maintenance, and support of Windows, macOS, and mobile devices; prepare computers for deployment.
• Technology Operations & Team Support – assist with projects, deployments, inventories, and documentation; escalate appropriately.
