Job summary

American Heritage Schools is seeking an IT Support Specialist for the Palm Beach campus. This in-person, on-site role supports Mac OSX and Windows desktops, printers, projectors, iPads, and related equipment, while handling helpdesk requests and maintaining security and backups.

The role requires strong customer service, cross‑platform knowledge, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. Bachelor or higher is not required, but ASE/AS is preferred, with 3–5 years of relevant

Qualifications

• Associate of Science preferred.
• Proficient with macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Linux and Windows; cross‑platform integration.
• Printer support experience with drivers and configuration.
• Imaging concepts, imaging software, and MDM knowledge.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and LDAP.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and administer Macs, Windows PCs, printers and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Install and maintain network printers and drivers.
• Configure and maintain Apple desktops, networks, cabling, and AV equipment.
• Inventory and assist in purchasing computer equipment.
• Manage backups and badge/terminal systems.
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide timely user support.
• Perform software development, installation, and upgrades as needed.
• Create desktop images using MDM and imaging tools.
