Job summary

American Heritage Schools Broward campus seeks an IT Support Specialist to manage the Macintosh computing environment, desktops, and printers across classrooms. This is an in-person, on-site role supporting teachers and staff with timely IT service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of IT experience, strong macOS/iOS/iPadOS, Windows, and imaging/MDM skills, plus excellent customer service and problem solving. Some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant IT work experience is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge supporting macOS / iOS / iPadOS / Linux / Windows; cross-platform integration.
• Experience with printer support including driver setup and configuration.
• Familiarity with imaging concepts, imaging software, and MDM.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and LDAP.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and administer desktops, printers, and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across campus.
• Install and configure Apple devices, network cabling, and classroom AV equipment.
• Inventory, purchase assistance, and backup management for IT assets.
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and prioritize for timely user support.
• Create and test desktop images using imaging tools and MDM.
