Job summary

Chaminade College Preparatory seeks a service oriented computer professional to join our outstanding IT team as a Temporary Support Specialist at our middle and high school campuses in Chatsworth and West Hills, California.

The IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance to Chaminade students and staff, answers questions and resolves computer problems for end users, and works with vendors on IT department needs to ensure timely service and support.

Qualifications

• Must have a combination of education and experience equivalent to the following.
• High School Diploma; College degree preferred; A+ Certification or related training.
• Two years experience in the technical support field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical assistance to students and staff, answers questions and resolves computer problems for end users.
• Trains users in the operations of the network and authorized software.
• Provides exceptional customer service and timely responses to Help Desk requests.
• Assists with department paperwork, documentation and inventories.
• Performs hardware upgrades, diagnostics and problem solving.
• Coordinates with vendors for purchases and repairs as necessary.
