Job summary

Montgomery College in Rockville is seeking a full-time IT Support Specialist for the Office of Information Technology. The role covers front-line support for campus technology, including PCs, networks, and multimedia systems, with on-site and remote capabilities.

You will deploy images, manage Intune configurations, and support classrooms, labs, and events. The position is 5 days/40 hours weekly, non-bargaining, non-exempt, grade 25.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT/educational technology or related field.
• Three years of front-line technical support experience in an educational setting.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for PCs, devices, network connectivity, and classroom technology.
• Deploy computer images and Intune configurations for labs and classrooms.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware for instructional use.
• Set up and support AV equipment and multimedia in classrooms and events.
• Create and track service tickets and respond to IT Service Desk requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and warranty repair on devices.
