Job summary

Laurel Ridge Community College seeks a on-site helpdesk technician at the Middletown Campus to provide first-level support to faculty, staff, and students. You will maintain computers, peripherals, and classroom electronics, and perform physical installation and integration of server racks, A/V equipment, and networking components.

The role requires strong customer service, device configuration skills, and basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, and networking.

Qualifications

Experience delivering high-quality customer service and direct support.
Ability to configure and install computing devices and software.
Knowledge of Windows 10, MacOS, iOS, and basic networking.
CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and travel between campus locations with equipment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level helpdesk support to Laurel Ridge Community College faculty, staff, and students.
Maintain computers, peripheral equipment, and classroom electronics through preventive maintenance and repairs.
Perform physical installation and integration of server racks, A/V equipment, networking components, and related infrastructure.
