Job summary

Colorado Mountain College is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee non-residential campus facilities, maintenance and custodial services. You will manage staff, coordinate external contractors, and supervise budgets while ensuring safety and compliance across multiple service sites.

The role requires strong leadership, prioritization, and the ability to work with architects, engineers and vendors. A Colorado driver license is required, and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position such as a Bachelor’s with 1 year experience or an Associate’s with 3 years experience, or a HS diploma with 5 years experience.
• Experience in facilities management including budgeting and staff supervision is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, compliance and building systems is required or advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, and manages staff.
• Oversees cleaning, maintenance and grounds at campus facilities.
• Coordinates outside contractor services for repairs and projects.
• Develops and administers campus facilities budget and maintains inventory.
• Ensures safety, security and compliance across the campus.
